Blue and Black Dichroic Earrings
Each pair of earrings start from a slab of glass that is constructed with multiple layers of colored fused glass, along with dichroic glass that has an eighteen-hour fire process from start to finish, reaching a high temperature of 1465 degrees. Once that firing is completed, then individual pieces are cut out from the slab of glass on the tile saw and then those go back into the kiln for a fire polish to round off the edges, reaching 1325 degrees. Finally, once that is completed, the earrings are assembled with a silver-plated bail and sterling silver ear wires to create a unique pair of fused glass earrings!
